These beautiful large domed statement earrings were fired with a multi colored copper glaze and fine silver which produced copper, metallic blue and purple colors.

My work starts with a 25 pound block of clay. Each piece is hand shaped and patterned, sanded and bisque fired, then finally glazed and raku fired. I never really know how the pieces will turn out as raku firing has a mind of it’s own! So it’s always a joy when I can produce pairs for earrings.

Earrings are approx. 2.5” from top to bottom AND approx. 2” wide and hang from niobium earwires which are hypoallergenic.
