These earring drops were fired with my favorite turquoise glaze and accented in fine silver. I had to hang these during firing which was a bit of a challenge but I’m really happy with how they turned out!

My work starts with a 25 pound block of clay. Each piece is hand shaped and patterned, sanded and bisque fired, then finally glazed and raku fired. I never really know how the pieces will turn out as raku firing has a mind of it’s own! So it’s always a joy when I can produce pairs for earrings.

Earrings are approx. 2.75” from top to bottom and hang from 1 1/8” sterling silver 3mm hoops that click to close. These hoops are substantial and gorgeous! The dangles come off of the hoop so you can wear the hoop by itself if you want to.
