This pendant is one from a series of pendant that I threw on my pottery wheel. It features shiny gold glaze and was fired with fine silver around the inside and outside edges.

The bail is hand fabricated scrap sterling silver and measures 9mm diameter.

My work starts with a 25 pound block of clay. Each piece is hand shaped and patterned, sanded, bisque fired, then finally glazed and raku fired. This particular pendant was thrown on a pottery wheel which was a challenge but I am really pleased with the results!
