This pendant is one from a series of pendant that I threw on my pottery wheel. It features multi colored textured coppery glaze and was fired with fine silver around the inside edge.

The bail is hand fabricated scrap sterling silver and measures 7mm diameter.

My work starts with a 25 pound block of clay. Each piece is hand shaped and patterned, sanded, bisque fired, then finally glazed and raku fired. This particular pendant was thrown on a pottery wheel which was a challenge but I am really pleased with the results!
