Rustic horsehair spiral cross with fluted edges.  Has a high temperature loop on the back for hanging. Signed on the back. Raku fired earthenware with horsehair and embellished with 24k gold leaf with a glossy finish. I pray over my crosses while making them and ask that the Holy Spirit bring the owner peace, comfort and joy.

A note about my horsehair…it comes from my customers who have horses. They brush the tail and mane during grooming and when they clean the brushes they send the hair to me (kind of like when us ladies clean our hairbrushes 😊). This particular cross’s horsehair came from a beautiful white horse in PA named Persia.
